Before joining GoCardless, Youssef was fintech and blockchain strategist and advisory counsel at Perkins Coie.

In almost 15 years at Microsoft, Youssef served in several capacity including as president of Microsoft Payments and Assistant General Counsel where he led the payments and e-commerce legal team and advised clients on a variety of legal and regulatory financial, commerce, and payments issues.
