In order to attract marketplace and sharing economy startups that are bootstrapped and/or unfunded, we recognize that we must remove barriers to participation. At a minimum, we offer scholarships in the form of complimentary and discounted registration fees to those who qualify, including for startups in the marketplace, sharing, gig, on-demand, peer-to-peer and collaborative economy, that would not otherwise attend the Marketplace Risk New York Conference but for the scholarship program. 

Qualification for the scholarship program is pretty simple - you simply need to demonstrate that you are: (1) a founder or employee of a bootstrapped and/or unfunded marketplace, sharing, gig, on-demand, peer-to-peer and/or collaborative economy startup; or (2) you are an entrepreneur or innovator who is interested in the marketplace, sharing, gig, on-demand, peer-to-peer and/or collaborative economy (but not otherwise employed by a vendor or service provider in the industry). In either case, you must show that you would not otherwise attend the Marketplace Risk New York Conference but for the scholarship program. Please note that the Scholarship Program is not open to vendors or service providers.
